Good vs. Evil

Posted By: L A on September 17, 2008 When I think of good and evil, it reminds me of scary movies. And what do scary movies usually involve? A bad guy trying 2 cause havoc, and the good guy trying 2 save everyone while ceasing the evilness. This makes me think of the film, "Devils Advocate," with Keanu Reeves, Al Pachino and Charlize Theron. In the film it was obvious, Al Pachino along with his followers were the 1's doing the evil. The good guy was Keanu Reeves, who was lured in by the devil. In the end, Reeves broke free from evil and got his life back, but it showed how evil always makes a come back, lurking and waiting until it finds it's prey. But the great thing about this, is that good continuously makes a come back also. Think about it, if there was never good 2 conquer evil, many of our lives would be miserable. In fact....many our lives our miserable today, due 2 the failed policies of our government. I believe this election is a battle of good vs. evil. Now....I don't like 2 call anyone evil, but McCain's policies are the same as president Bush's current policies, and the current policies are only in favor of the wealthy and elite. McBush's policies makes me think of a pyramid scam. You guys ever heard that saying that says, "I'd rather be the boss and have a 100 little people working 4 me, then be 1 of the little people trying 2 climb the ladder." But if you think about it, it all makes perfect sense. The government is at the top of the pyramid controlling everything, and we the American people are at the bottom, trying 2 climb up the ladder. It's extremely difficult 2 climb that ladder of success, when you have the government constantly sucking the life out of you. Making it hard 4 us on purpose, and putting us in a situation that forces us 2 struggle. The Republicans can cry out and say it's not our fault that we work harder then Democrats, ultimately making them richer. But it's not working hard, when they inherited wealth from their families. Then they design stocks 2 continuously make them richer without having 2 work, and the plan is designed 2 make us poorer. But if they're already sitting on billions of dollars, why in the world would they want 2 continue 2 make other's suffer who have a hell of a lot less then they do? I'll tell you why. Because the system is designed 2 make the wealthy wealthier, because money holds power, and they always want 2 be in power and have the wealth 2 pass on 2 their next generation, just as it has been from the beginning. Then here comes Senator Obama out of nowhere, throwing a monkey wrench in the governments plan and derailing their operations. If Obama is elected, the Republicans know the system will do a 360 and not necessarily in their favor. If the Republicans were about helping all people, we wouldn't be fighting such a hard battle right now in this election. It wouldn't be like pulling teeth, because both parties would have the same agenda in mind, which is helping the American people and the economy. But when 2 parties have a different agenda in mind, things can get pretty ugly, which is what's happening right now. The Democrats are pulling 1 way, and the Republicans are pulling another. So how do you reach common ground, when the Republicans would rather see this country go 2 hell, then lend a helping hand 2 help the American people simply because, IT'S THE RIGHT THING 2 DO? (Obama & McCain pictured above) This country is called, "The United States of America," 4 a reason. Meaning we're all supposed 2 be united 2gether as 1, 4 the better of the country and our families. If we remain divided because of race, money and class we'll never reach our full potential again. People shouldn't think that they're better then anyone because of race, class or money. Instead, the 1's that are fortunate enough 2 have, are the very 1's that should be sharing. I mean really....what would you do with billions of dollars? You can't take it with you 2 the grave, so while you're on this earth you should use it 2 better your family, your community and the world. If I had millions or billions of dollars, I would start sooooo many charities and organizations 2 help those who are in need. In fact, I would dedicate my life 2 helping other's, I even have my charity ideas and proposals ready in case an opportunity shall arise. You always have 2 be ready, because remember, "It's better 2 be prepared 4 an opportunity and not have 1, then 2 have an opportunity and not be prepared 4 it." So in short, I say all this 2 of course vent....lol. But I also say it in hopes of educating a person enough 2 make the right decisions. You know.....I always say with all the celebrities we have, it should seem easy 2 help pull this country 2gether. Even though the governments heart isn't in the right place, that doesn't change the fact that as an individual, you should always feel it is your duty 2 help your fellow brethern. Just like in the bible it's says, "Help thy neighbor," and "Treat those according 2 how you would want 2 be treated." What happened 2 these morals and values within our government, and did they ever exist? If those values did exist we have 2 figure out a way 2 get them back again. Wait.....I know how! Register 2 vote before October 6th, and in November vote Barack Obama/Joe Biden, the change we so desperately need in Washington!
