Boyfriend and JOB

Posted By: Ashley O on June 15, 2005 Another day in the life and times of a girl bound for Spelman...well lifes been either neutral or on its way downhill. First of all i dont know where me and boyfrined's relationship is headed...i kinda think we're forcing ourselves to grow apart without actually realizing it cuz we're scared that our relationship will fail...we are not at the level we need to be but i cant too much worry about it...the distance and time apart is goin do one of two things...destroy us or make our bond stronger...so knowing that nothings in between ill just be prepared for both! On an angrier notemy place of employment decides to tell the first person who asked where are our paychecks that we will "probably" get paid tommorrow...GRRRRR this is the point when i say "my black people my black people" I love us to death but sumtimes some of us get a lil power and we think we can run things however we want it whether its totally wrong or not...There are too many strikes against the job...but like ive said b4 my pastor hired these people to run our church daycare and i just dont wanna let the devil get da best of me and tell these people a piece of mind...but i can only take sooo much!! 1.first day of employment they ask, "what hours are u supposed to work? *HELLO if u are my employer u should be telling me.Im not running the place. Now if u want me too ill be happy to recieve the big ole check ur probably recieving. 2. I didnt recieve a schedule until the 3rd day that i worked there and i had to ask for that all three of those days 3. we dont have a freakin dress code and trust me some of us "other workers" need em...i should not know more daycare guidelines than the freakin directors 4. I have yet to know from my "Boss" what my hourly wage is. 5.hearing the words "OH YOU'LL PROBABLY GET UR CHECKS TOMORROW" but the bad part about it is neither boss took the time to come and tell us that we werent gettin paid. so the whole day we are waiting for NOTHING...
