What should I do?

I've been single for awhile now and I thought that maybe she might be someone that I could go out with. We've always try to go out but something always come up. Well she tells me that I am her best friend and that she loves me and some more stuff. Cool but then I asked her do you want to be with me she says yeah but I don't want a relationship. Hold on that ain't it. After hearing that I was alil upset but I was cool. i told her that I was going to talk to other females if they talk to me cause I don't believe in talking to girls when you trying to get with one. She says that she don't want me to be with anyone else and I'm giving up on us. The way it sounds to me is I'm her second option. what should I do? OH WOW you sound like me. Same mess happened between me and my best friend. And he just recently told me that we traveled as far as we can right now. THAT HURT ME. and though he hasn't verbally said it he doesn't want me to be with anyone else either. And vice versa. However I think he's wanting me to mature more spiritually because that's where his heart and mind is right now. As far as you are concerned I totally understand how you are feeling right now. If you go back and read my blogs it might remind you off some of the things you are experiencing. Keep your head up. I know you care about her. But if it's meant for you trust me it will come back looking for you Okay. Take Care and hit me up anytime

From what you said, it looks as if she's confused as whether she wants you as a best friend or boyfriend. She said that she don't want you to be with anyone else, but then again she doesn't want a relationship. If she's holding you back, then she's actually being selfish. She needs to make up her mind and say whether or not she wants you as a boyfriend or best friend. Good luck in that situation.

Marcus, i'm in the same prediciment my brotha. I have a friend that calls me her best friend, we've even expressed our feelings for each other beyond our friendship on numerous of occasions, but i am the 2nd option in my situation. I have to be the friend about the whole situation because i'm a friend first, but her boyfriend isnt the best of boyfriends when it comes to being honest and communicating on the same wave. It's been some years now and i've been with her through the good and the bad. But it seems I only get to talk to her when her relationship is in the 'bad' phase, because that's when she calls. So i fight through my personal feelings for her and give advice and wish for the best in her relationship. Depending on how long she wants to holdout should determine when u should start talkin to other girls on that level. Man this is an uncomfortable situation, you have to be patient but impatient at the same time man....just play it by ear and if it is u that she wants then she will realize that. Like the others before me said if it is meant to be then it will be....just give it time..... Peace and Love -=Fresh=-

I have been in a situations like these before and I was usually playing the role of the indecisive girl. Usually, the purpose of not being completely honest about the situation is because there was another option out there. I know for myself, I would be talking to someone else and seeing where that might lead. But I knew that I didn't want the other guy to leave from my life. I think that you should weigh the cost and decide which option fits you the best. By dating other females, you might be able to find someone else who may be even more perfect than the one who holds your interest.
