Why are you ashamed of your skin? If it isn't you it doesn't apply, but please respond because I really wanna know. Well first off it doesn't apply to me I love being who I am, a proud Black African American Woman. I don't know why some people don't accept who they are. Maybe it's because of how they are treated or the classification they are given based on there color and historical background. Whatever the reason for them not excepting who they are they should be blessed because they have some much to be proud of even if they don't realize it yet!

I am proud of my heritage, we come from a strong deep and dark past. We can not let some one tell us that we are mentally inadequate. We are strong as a race we just need to lift a muscle a little more, our brain. We need to utilize what God has blessed us with, and stop letting the media portray us as typical criminals. We are not making the drugs that are being sold, we are not making the guns that shoot, but WE ARE ON THE NEWS AT 5:00 & 6:00 o'clock everyday. We never see the students that recieve interns, graduate scholarships, and jobs. We need to glorify ourselves instead of having so much animosity toward ourself.
