It explores, among other things, the evolving spirituality of Lila Mae Thornton. Raised in a traditional church, she later discovers that her soul has been around for a few thousand years. She also learns her mission in this life. Reluctantly, she uncovers the notion of reincarnation. Her whole life changes. Read the book. It is intriguing. There is laughter, sadness, and surprise.
