4 Confess to Obama Effigy, School Says

Posted By: melba thomas on October 04, 2008 Black Voices reports that four students have confessed to hanging a likeness of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama from a tree on campus. Brad Lau, the university's vice president is reported to have made this statement, “Regardless of the students' intent, the image of a black man hung from a tree is one of the most hurtful symbols of racism in American history”. This statement is so very true. The FBI is investigating whether any civil rights were violated. A FBI spokeswoman Beth Anne Steele is said by Black Voices that a criminal investigation will be much more rigorous than the academic one. People this has to stop, first there was the Jenx 6 now the "Act Six reject". If you want a solution that will work, that has been tried, tested, and proven to work then you need to get a copy of Racial Slurs & Discrimination is it real or imaginary. People we can improve race relations inside of our nation, society and inside of our communities. As long as we are looking at these issues in the same old way that we have always viewed them then we will continue to give control to the other person. Do you want to take your control back. Then you need to look at these issues from a total different perspective, and that is what you will get from the message inside of the book a different perspective.
