Happy for a friend...but not for self

I'm going through things in my own personal life that it is SO hard for me to be happy for her as well. I don't want to neglect her life but I need to get my life in order. Nonetheless, I feel neglected myself because I'm constantly handlin my problems on my own. Even though I'm very familiar with settling my own problems, occasionally I want some one there with me. Sweets, straight up you gotta do you first, cause in the end thats all you have. I understand COMPLETELY cause i'm dealin with the same **** man! But the key is, yall (you and your friend) talk about your problems together, that way yall can both give each other some comfort, and feel betta. Or you could find someone else to talk to, to get your problems out and still be the one your friend runs to. Aight homie, stay up, ya got my #! PEACE

I agree with Shy. I mean you can't be at fault when you don't even have you together. Some people mistake that for jealousy but on my end I don't because I been there and still somewhat still in the same boat. You'll be Okay especially during your college years you're goin to find out more things about yourself that you've ever imagined. Ita growing and learnin process everybody goes through it so don't feel like you're the only. Keep your head up Ma. Be good. Peace

yo. to be honest, you should focus more on yaself. I know its kinda hard if thats ya best friend and whatever, but in the mix of things, there's nothing wrong in givin her her props, but u gotta strive for the beta in yaself, that time will come for u. No one can take care of your problems,but someone can help u in takin care of your problems along the way. Thats the meaning of a TRUE FRIEND. hit me up.
