What Can you Get for a Dollar?

Posted By: MICHAEL HUDSON on October 17, 2008 It was great to see everyone at Homecoming it was great to see y'all. And I appreciate all the friendships I developed over the years. Saying ALL that. As most of you know, I am a motivational speaker. I have a company called Money Talks International. It is a great business and I have a lot of fun doing it. I wanted to hip some of y’all to the game! This is a great time to make money in the stock market. This is where the rich get richer and the wealthy add 50 more years of generational wealth. A few things: 1. Don't worry about your 401K. You are not at the point of retirement yet anyway. So stay put 2. It is time to jump on some of the stocks you wanted but could not afford Microsoft, Wal-Mart, Abbott, and GE; these are LONG term stocks that are solid earners year after year. 3. PLEASE, I SAID PLEASE. Look into Ford, GM, Chrysler, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. These stocks are CHEAP and I do mean CHEAP. I bought Fannie Mae for $1.00. Yes, $1.00. I will hold that stock for a while. You see the gov't has an 80% stake in Freddie and Fannie. I don't think it will not go under. If the stock goes to $2.00 I doubled my money. If it takes 8 years, 10 years, or 15 years, I'm cool. I only paid a Buck! At homecoming my room was $100 or 100 shares of Fannie Mae. It may go down more, but that's ok you are in it for the long run. I missed out on Google at $85 per share and now it is at $353. I predict a bailout of the auto industry as well. Ford stock today is $2.36. Listen, I am not telling you what to do with your money! But, I know what my niece and nephews are getting for Christmas, Stock in Fannie Mae. You see clothes and toys can only last so long, but an investment can last a lifetime. Ask yourself, Dollar menu at McDonald that will fulfill you for about 4 hours or invest for long term wealth. I'm not a Financial Planner, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn last night.
