Posted By: amanda lewis on June 21, 2005 Well, i want to talk about my favorite subject. MEN!!!! God knows i love my black men to death, but they are always doing something so stupid. Is it me or are all guys stuck in a child's frame of mind. They expect for women to cook for them, take care of them, and "cater" to them, but even Destiny's Child is not that stupid. Now, for the good guys that are out there, i want to say more power to you. Keep doing ur thing. But the rest of you guys need to grow up, and accept the role of being a man if that's what u want to be called. Amanda, im with u all the way on that. However, I kinda feel that many young black women are stuck in a child's frame of mind as well. I feel that they depend too much on men at times. In doing that i feel they set themselves up for disappointment. I dont think anyone is perfect in relationships. Women need to keep themselves in check like us men need to. I'm starting to get annoyed with society beating down on men in relationships. I know I have been the best man i could be to every girl i have been with. Not all guys really want a slave for a girlfriend but we appreciate down a$$ chicks if we're gonna be soldiers. Im not blaming you for the slander im just using ur blog as an outlet to vent my feeling regarding this issue. ~Much Luv~

Thanks for the shoutout on good men! I kind of agree with Jimmie and Marquis in a way. A lot of women always say they're independent, but everytime you turn around, they want a man's help. I'm not saying that a man shouldn't help out, but some of the women act as if they don't want our help. Now me, I want to cater to my woman (when I find her) and I want her to cater to me.
