JOB DESCRIPTION Job Family: Clinical and Allied Health Job Function: Clinical Services Job Title: Physician FLSA Status: Exempt The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care is seeking a full-time Assistant or Associate Professor Intensivist position to add to our CVICU/CCU coverage. General Description (Purpose and Function):The Physician is responsible for assessing physical and psychosocial status of patients by means of interview, health history, physical examination, and diagnostic studies. The Physician educates patients on wellness, prevention and early detection by providing materials and resources to the patients and families.The physician is also responsible for driving the academic and operational missions of the division. This includes education, research, and patient care within our inpatient and/or outpatient care settings. The physician is expected to work collegially and collaboratively with other members of the Division of Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine (PCCSM), Department of Medicine (DOM) and other Departments or Centers, School of Medicine (SOM), University of Miami Medical Group (UMMG), and affiliated Hospital entities in promoting the various missions.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
