I<span>n</span>tern per<span>f</span><span>o</span>r<span>m</span>a<span>n</span>ce will be as<span>s</span>ess<span>e</span>d using <span>o</span><span>u</span>r i<span>n</span><span>te</span>r<span>n</span>al re<span>v</span><span>i</span>ew p<span>r</span><span>o</span>c<span>e</span>ss.</p><p></p><p><b>DataOps &amp; Observability Intern</b></p><p></p><p>As a DataOps &amp; Observability Intern, you will work closely with the Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, and Production Operations teams as you focus on ensuring the operational health of Levi’s Global AI/ML Platform.  We need someone who will bring thoughtful perspective, empathy, creativity, and a positive attitude to solve problems at scale.</p><p></p><p>You will have the opportunity to help create solutions that proactively monitor and report any operational issues on the cloud-based AI/ML platform and applications hosted on it.  You will also be able to gain experience in developing and supporting high throughput data pipelines that feed our data ocean.  </p><p></p><p></p><p><b><u><span>Job Responsibilities</span></u></b></p><ul><li>You’ll apply software development skills to drive automation on data pipeline and infrastructure deployments.</li><li>You’ll enhance and evolve existing application and platform performance monitoring systems.</li><li>You’ll create and publish documentation relating to process and engineering architectures.</li><li>You’ll compile statistics and key metrics for data pipeline performance and reliability.</li><li>You&#39;ll research technical solutions and/or industry state-of-the art initiatives applicable to team initiatives.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p><b><u><span>Qualifications &amp; Required Skills</span></u></b></p><ul><li>A strong passion for learning new technologies and tools.</li><li>Knowledge of cloud computing, networking, infrastructure, and security.</li><li>High levels of creativity and quick problem-solving capabilities.</li><li>Possess the communication and presentation skills required to clearly articulate problem statements and solutions.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><h2><b><span>EOE M/F/Disability/Vets</span></b></h2><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2></h2><h2><b>LOCATION</b></h2>San Francisco, CA, USA<h2></h2><h2><b>FULL TIME/PART TIME</b></h2>Full time<h2><b><u><a href="http://wd5.myworkday.com/levistraussandco/d/task/1422$6600.htmld" target="_blank"><span class="emphasis">Current LS&amp;Co Employees, apply via your Workday account.</span></a></u></b></h2><p></p>
