We employ more than 15,000 people globally to support our great brands: Levi&#39;s®, Dockers®, Denizen® and Signature by Levi Strauss &amp; Co.™<br /> </p><h2>About the Job</h2><ul><li>Manage all phases of development cycle from initial concept through Buy Ready.</li><li>Responsible for executing product development activities from initial design concept to commercial sample approval.</li><li>Create strong cross functional relationships to ensure cost, sample execution and brand aesthetic meets designs intent and merchandising requirements.</li><li>Experienced in outerwear development and applying knowledge of sourcing fabrication, trims, and/or finishes to meet design vision, merchant requirements, and company financial goals.</li><li>Counter-source and provide options to design where necessary to ensure global margin goals are attainable for production execution.</li><li>Ability to build vendor seasonal strategy by understanding vendor key strengths, capabilities, and capacity while keeping cost and brand identity in mind.</li><li>Ensures that Merchants have all seasonal selling samples by coordinating and driving deadlines with the cross-functional teams leading up to and during the sample production timeline.</li><li>Establish and monitor time and action calendars to hit major milestone deliverables and negotiate costs to meet target margin goals; suggesting alternatives when relevant.</li><li>Collaborate with sourcing partners overseas to create viable solutions or options that can be presented to cross functional teams.</li><li>Anticipate and identify any potential obstacles in the development process and facilitate effective resolution by collaborating with cross functional teams.</li><li>Experienced in working at a rapidly changing, high growth environment and to manage multiple and competing work priorities, demands and changes.</li><li>Knowledgeable and skilled in communicating with sourcing offices and/or vendors daily (written and verbal) on pertinent design, development, delivery and/or cost related issues.</li><li>Conduct meetings with design team and proactively follow up on pending inquiries and sample approvals.</li><li>Collaborate with product integrity when issues arise to quickly solve or grant concessions on testing reports prior to bulk production.</li><li>Reinforces core values by engaging all internal and external partners with a high degree of professionalism and exhibits confidence and resourcefulness when faced with challenge.</li><li>Creates a collaborative and positive team environment that encourages authentic and transparent contribution.</li><li>Robust ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously in a fast pace environment.</li><li>Maintain and manage data on Trackfile to ensure integrity and accuracy of the information.</li><li>Excellent communication skills that possess the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment with positive attitude<br /> </li></ul><h2>About You</h2><ul><li>3-5&#43; years of product development experience is required and/or product management experience with an understanding of managing product from concept to completion. Experience in outerwear desired.</li><li>Must possess strong knowledge of costing, garment construction, pre-production and production coordination.</li><li>Ability to handle several tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment.</li><li>Intermediate to advanced computer skills with emphasis on MS Office software &amp; PLM Systems.</li><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>Takes initiative and accountability for their work and can work independently.<br /> </li></ul><p>We put a lot of thought into our programs to provide you with a benefits package that matters.
