We employ more than 15,000 people globally to support our great brands: Levi’s®, Dockers®, Denizen® and Signature by Levi Strauss & Co.™</p><p></p><p><i>This is a hybrid role so our ideal candidate is located in the Bay Area but there will be flexibility around remote work.</i></p><p></p><p>You will report into the Director of Global Strategic Sourcing and will be tasked with supporting multiple cross-functional projects across key categories of Indirect spend. You will support category managers in benchmarking and research, data gathering and analysis, as well as category strategy development. In this role you will have the opportunity to work on projects within various indirect spend categories, with initial focus on Human Resources and Professional Services and in support of Asia, Middle East, and Africa regional teams. Responsibilities will include building and executing RFP/RFI’s, supporting category strategy development, stakeholder management, vendor negotiations and value analysis.</p><p></p><p>In this role you will:</p><ul><li><p>Build and leverage internal business partner relationships to effectively create value focused strategies that align with department goals.</p></li><li><p>Contract review and negotiation.</p></li><li><p>Ability to identify, recommend, and execute on different negotiation levers.</p></li><li><p>Contribute to department goals by working closely with various category managers to identify opportunities within categories to create value for the organization.</p></li><li><p>Through spend analytics and market intelligence work with category managers to build business cases in support of key strategic initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Develop, distribute and analyze RFP’s and RFI’s responses.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrate critical thinking and consider all factors affecting a decision before making a recommendation.</p></li><li><p>Maintain up-to-date knowledge in procurement practices & technologies and market trends related to assigned categories of goods and services.</p></li><li><p>Proactively seek business optimization and cost savings and build data driven business cases to support their initiatives.</p></li></ul><p></p><p>Qualification</p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's degree desired</p></li><li><p>2-5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or a closely related area</p></li><li><p>Advanced Excel skills, there will be an assessment</p></li><li><p>Solid business judgement, including the ability to anticipate the impact of decisions</p></li><li><p>Ability to understand and articulate the total value of a deal or negotiation</p></li><li><p>Strong analytical and problem solving skills</p></li><li><p>Negotiation skills</p></li><li><p>Strong presentation skills</p></li><li><p>International experience, E-Auction and Procure-to-Pay are all considered nice to have</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Currently, LS&CO requires proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 as a condition of commencing employment, except in those jurisdictions where prohibited by law.
