Job Title: Staff Accountant

Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members and management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Support in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation for audit and tax purposes.
  • Support other accounting functions and special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance (internship experience may be considered).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
