Punch Press Operator 1st shift

Pay Rate: $31.00 an hour+

Job Summary:

The Punch Press Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining punch press machines to produce precision sheet metal parts according to specifications. The role involves interpreting blueprints, ensuring quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

• Set up and operate punch press machines to fabricate metal parts.
• Adjust machine settings, such as die clearances and punch positions, to achieve specified dimensions.
• Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or irregularities.
• Blueprint Interpretation
• Operate Sit Down Forklift

Experience:

• Previous experience operating punch press or similar machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
