Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Staff Accountant to join our team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is perfect for a professional eager to grow their career in accounting while contributing to our company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Support internal and external audits by providing requested documentation and information.
• Maintain and update financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience preferred (open to entry-level candidates with relevant internships).
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Knowledge of GAAP principles is a plus.
