QC Supervisor (JN -112024-383082)
Position Overview We are looking for an experienced Quality Control (QC) Supervisor to lead our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control processes, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and supervisory experience. This role requires proficiency in reading bills of materials, quality alerts, case records, and 2D engineering drawings, as well as experience with RMAs, NRC (Non-Conformance Reporting), calipers, and WMS systems.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead the QC team to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
Manage and monitor quality assurance processes, including documentation in QMS.
Conduct regular reviews of quality alerts, case records, and RMAs, ensuring proper resolution.
Perform inspections and quality checks using calipers and other precision tools.
Interpret and verify bills of materials and 2D engineering drawings for accuracy.
Oversee the NRC process, ensuring timely identification and resolution of non-conformance issues.
Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track and manage quality-related inventory.
Train, mentor, and evaluate the performance of QC team members to ensure continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other departments to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
Develop and maintain quality-related reports and metrics for senior management.
Qualifications
2years proven experience as a Quality Control Supervisor or similar role, managing a team in a manufacturing, distribution, or related environment.
Strong background in quality assurance, with experience in QMS and WMS systems.
Ability to read and interpret bills of materials, quality alerts, case records, and 2D drawings.
Hands-on experience with RMAs, NRC processes, and using calipers for precision measurements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of ISO standards and lean manufacturing principles.
Experience in continuous improvement initiatives or Lean Six Sigma.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.
