In this role, you’ll lead capital equipment projects that connect multiple manufacturing facilities to a central warehouse—ensuring seamless, reliable product flow across our campus. Your work will directly impact efficiency, scalability, and the future of how we move products from factory to customer.<h2></h2><h2><span class="emphasis-3">Position</span></h2>Principal Advanced Manufacturing Engineer<h2></h2><h2><span class="emphasis-3">Location</span></h2>USA, Louisville, KY<p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><span class="emphasis-3">How You&#39;ll Create Possibilities</span></h2><ul><li><p><b>Engineer Innovation:</b> Design, develop, and implement advanced conveyance and sortation systems that optimize material flow and connect manufacturing with warehousing.</p></li><li><p><b>Collaborate Across Teams:</b> Partner with operations, logistics, IT, and maintenance to ensure smooth system integration and sustainable performance.</p></li><li><p><b>Drive Continuous Improvement:</b> Analyze current systems, identify opportunities for innovation, and implement data-driven improvements.</p></li><li><p><b>Lead Projects End-to-End:</b> Own project plans, budgets, and timelines—delivering results that make a measurable impact.</p></li><li><p><b>Guide and Mentor:</b> Provide technical leadership while supporting the growth of junior engineers and team members.</p></li><li><p><b>Stay Ahead of the Curve:</b> Leverage emerging technologies and industry best practices to keep our systems efficient, safe, and competitive.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><span class="emphasis-3">What You&#39;ll Bring to Our Team</span></h2><p><b><span>Minimum Requirements:</span></b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent experience.</li><li>7&#43; years of experience in advanced manufacturing engineering, with a focus on conveyance and sortation systems.</li><li>Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale engineering projects in a manufacturing environment.</li><li>Knowledge of automation and material handling technologies. Familiarity with PLC controls.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically and analytically.</li><li>Project management skills, with experience in managing budgets and timelines.</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.</li><li>Proficiency in AutoCAD software, MS Office, and other relevant engineering tools.</li><li>Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to industrial safety, manufacturing, and material handling.</li><li><b>Willingness to travel as required, typically ~25%.</b></li></ul><p></p><p> <b>Preferred Qualifications: </b></p><ul><li>Experience implementing material flow systems for Fortune 500 companies.</li><li>Prior experience with NPI programs.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Project (or equivalent).</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><h2><span class="emphasis-3"><b>Our Culture</b></span></h2><p style="text-align:left"><span>Our work is centered on our People and Culture as reflected in our Zero Distance philosophy and we recognize the importance of reaffirming our commitment to inclusion and diversity (I&amp;D).
