QA Automation Engineer – TOSCA About the Team

Our Technology team has 6 different departments: Information Security, Service Delivery, Business Enabling Systems, eCommerce & Marketing Technology, Data and Stores, Services & Supply Chain.

About the Location
Collaborative Work Environment At PetSmart, teamwork and connection are core to how we thrive. This role is based at our Phoenix Home Office, with an expectation of working a minimum of four days in the office each week. In a standard work week, associates may work up to one remote “flex day” (with leader approval). About the Job
This role works onsite in our Phoenix Home Office. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this role.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated QA Automation Engineer to join our Phoenix Home Office team. This role will focus on designing and maintaining automated test solutions using TOSCA, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality web applications. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about driving quality through automation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using TOSCA to support functional and regression testing.
Work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure quality standards are met across.
Independently identify, troubleshoot, and resolve automation-related issues to maintain test reliability and coverage.
Provide regular status updates and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in test automation.
5+ years of test automation experience with atleast 3+ years of Tosca experience.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
Advanced TOSCA hands on knowledge on Web, API, and SAP apps.
Must be willing to test manually if required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Must have experience in Retail domain.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Automation in Manhattan products like WMoS, SOF, or SIM will be a huge plus.
Experience in integrating Tosca with qTest, and CI/CD pipeline.
