Post-Doctoral Research Associates (LEO)![]() Post-Doctoral Research Associates (LEO) Location: Notre Dame, IN Open Date: 2025-09-26 Deadline: Description:The Wilson Sheehan Lab for Economic Opportunities (LEO) within the University of Notre Dame's Department of Economics seeks two post-doctoral research associates. One position is particularly focused on the intersection of criminal justice and poverty. The other includes all research areas related to poverty. Ideal candidates will have evidence of excellence in research in the field of economics, or a closely-related discipline, with some experience in the design, execution, or analysis of randomized controlled trials. Successful candidates will develop a portfolio of LEO-related research projects. There are no teaching responsibilities. Post-docs are ordinarily appointed for one-year, but we expect funding for renewal up to 3 years. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or expect to complete a Ph.D. by July 1, 2026. This position is eligible for J-1 but not H-1B visa sponsorship. All applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, one or more research papers, and three letters of recommendation.
