Backroads Trip Leader An active travel guide/leader that facilitates weeklong adventures for group travel. A Trip Leader leads hiking, biking, and various other activities, all while ensuring each guest has a vacation of a lifetime. Housing is provided for the duration of your season. Many costs are covered that lead to a low amount of "out of pocket" expenses for our leaders. We’re looking for active, hardworking people who truly enjoy serving others, creating exceptional experiences for our guests and delivering world-class hospitality. There is a reason we use the term “Trip Leaders” versus “guide”. The role goes far beyond leading activities or sharing local knowledge. A Trip Leader is responsible for the entire guest experience—from managing logistics and solving problems to creating meaningful connections and fostering group dynamics. Our trips demand versatile, high-energy individuals who lead with confidence, embrace problems as opportunities, think on their feet, and deliver exceptional service every step of the way.
