The Southwest Connecticut Mental Health System (SWCMHS), under the umbrella of the State of Connecticut, Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS) is seeking to hire a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals receiving inpatient behavioral health services.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

- Schedule:
-- Monday - Friday
-- Full-time (40 hours per week)
-- First shift (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
- Location: 1635 Central Avenue in Bridgeport, CT
- Unit: Hospital Services Division (Inpatient)
- Work Environment: Office/On-site

Qualifications & Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE

Incumbents in this class must possess and maintain licensure as a Physical Therapist issued by the Connecticut State Department of Public Health in accordance with the applicable Connecticut General Statutes.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

- Incumbents in this class may be required to be fluent in a foreign language or proficiency in the use of American Sign Language in certain designated positions.
- Incumbents in this class may be required to possess and retain a valid Motor Vehicle Operator’s license.
- Incumbents in this class may be required to travel.
