As a Principal COOP/DR Services Lead, you'll play a critical role in providing exceptional IT support to the customer. As a Principal COOP/DR Services Lead, you'll design, develop, and execute COOP/DR strategies to ensure business resilience and rapid recovery from disruptions. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing comprehensive COOP/DR plans, developing COOP/DR capabilities, and executing COOP/DR exercises, simulations, and actual activations.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Emergency Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years of experience in COOP/DR design, development, and execution, with hands-on leadership in government or large enterprise continuity programs
  • Proven track record building and testing DR solutions for hybrid IT environments, including failover and recovery orchestration
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current and transferable)
  • Strong knowledge of federal continuity standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-34, FCD 1) and ITIL practices for service continuity management
  • Proficiency in COOP/DR tools (e.g., replication software, backup solutions) and planning methodologies
  • Excellent leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills for cross-team coordination during crises
  • Applies extensive expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines, with the ability to exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment

  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) certification
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification
  • Experience supporting DoD or large federal COOP/DR programs, including integration with EOC activations and cloud-based recovery
  • Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar credential
  • Background in agile frameworks for DR plan development and scripting for automation (e.g., PowerShell for failover tests)
  • Master's degree in a relevant field or additional certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+)


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81336 - $138271

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
