When you grow, we grow.</p><p></p><p><b> Heres just some of what you can look forward to:</b></p><ul><li><b>Weekly Pay: </b>Get paid every weekso that you can manage your money on your terms.</li><li><b> Free BJs Memberships: </b>Enjoy a complimentary The Club Card Membership, plus a free Supplemental Membership for someone in your household.*</li><li><b>Generous Paid Time Off: </b>Take the time you need with vacation, personal, sick days, holidays, bereavement, and jury duty leave.*</li><li><b>Flexible and Affordable Health Benefits: </b>Choose from three medical plans, and access optional dental, vision, Health Savings Account (HSA), and flexible spending account options to fit your lifestyle.*</li><li><b>401(k) Retirement Savings Plan: </b>Build your financial future with a company match (available to team members 18 and older).*</li><li><b>Employee Stock Purchase Plan:</b> Accumulate funds through after-tax payroll deductions that can be used to purchase shares of BJs common stock at a 15% discount.*</li></ul><p></p><p>*Eligibility requirements vary by position.</p><p><b><u> Working Hours</u></b></p><p>Sunday - Wednesday, 11:00am - 9:30pm</p><p></p><p><b><u>Rate of Pay</u></b></p><p>$20 + additional pay based on relevant work experience</p><p></p><p></p><p><u><b>Job Summary:</b></u></p><p>To perform and assist with facility maintenance activities as assigned including but not limited to maintenance functions for buildings, equipment, and grounds.</p><p></p><p> Job Responsibilities:</p><p> Ensure equipment and systems operate efficiently and safely</p><p> Understand and comply with safety management, EPA and OSHA policies, procedures, and programs</p><p> Understand and use data from Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to complete proper and timely preventative maintenance, repairs, and record keeping as required</p><p> Ensure all paperwork is accurate, completed on time, and neat</p><p> Interact effectively and in a respectful manner even in difficult situations</p><p> Work with little direction and assist others</p><p> Continually displaying a conscious concern for personal and team member safety by assisting to provide the safest workplace possible</p><p> Safely operating and maintaining equipment</p><p> Reporting unsafe equipment, conditions, and behaviors to direct supervisor immediately</p><p> Take immediate action to correct safety issues</p><p> Treat building and equipment with respect and report all safety concerns</p><p> Identify and suggest possible equipment and/or safety improvements</p><p> Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures</p><p> Support sanitation by keeping areas clean and neat while working and at end of shift</p><p> (If applicable and properly trained/certified,) Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) as required by position or as assigned by function</p><p> Follow and confirm proper lock out/tag out and permit procedures</p><p> Other duties as assigned</p><p></p><p>Experience and Qualifications:</p><p> High school diploma or GED. College coursework, continuing technical education or comparable business experience preferred</p><p> Warehouse experience preferred</p><p> Experience operating Material Handling Equipment preferred</p><p> Ability to remain calm and focused while prioritizing requests from multiple sources</p><p> Ability to use basic hand tools</p><p> Basic knowledge of general construction, plumbing, electric, and hydraulic systems</p><p> Accuracy and attention to detail</p><p> Able to read, write, speak and understand English</p><p> Ability to read and understand label data</p><p> Ability to read small print on packaging and paperwork, with or without corrective lenses</p><p> Ability to take directions using the headset selection system (such as VoCollect)</p><p> Ability to accommodate flexible schedules to meet the needs of the customer to include nights, weekends and holidays</p><p></p><p>Environmental Job Conditions:</p><p> Independently lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally Must be able to respond and perform physical demands of weather emergencies</p><p> Must be able to tolerate and work in confined space(s)</p><p> Must perform pre-shift stretching routine</p><p> Must be able to pass respirator fit test, wear respirator and Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) if required</p><p> Able to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat on a frequent to continual basis in a refrigerated warehouse environment</p><p> Able to grasp, reach, push or pull (such as boxes of product, or a hand truck) on a frequent basis</p><p> Ability to utilize good hand-eye coordination and depth perception to operate forklift, reach truck, and HiLo safely and accurately</p><p> Able to step up onto and down from equipment as required by task (such as forklift, reach truck, etc.)</p><p> Ability to work at elevated heights while wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the job (such as fall protection harnesses)</p><p> Ability to reach above shoulder level frequently</p><p> Able to adjust to fluctuating temperatures and withstand freezing temperatures as low as -20 degrees Fahrenheit</p><p> Ability to work in a noisy warehouse environment</p><p> Able to wear and communicate through headsets for long periods of time as required by location</p><p> Able to work while wearing appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for the job (such as steel-toed protective footwear, harness, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, insulated clothing, etc)</p><p> Ability to handle and physically be near products which may contain food allergens (such as fish, shellfish, peanuts, etc.)</p><p> Ability to utilize equipment for the job safely and accurately after training (such as computer, handheld tracker, copiers, scanners, printers, radio headsets, forklift, reach truck, etc.)</p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p>In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. At BJs Wholesale Club, we carefully consider a wide range of non-discriminatory factors when determining salary.
