Assistant Athletics Coach - Adjunct Faculty <div id="details-info" class="tab-pane active fr-view" style="margin:2px"> <dl> <dt><h2>Class Description</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><p>CCBC is the college of choice for over <em>50,000 students</em> <em>and 200 businesses</em> each year — all with unique goals, strengths and requirements. We offer the region’s most expansive selection of degree, certificate and workplace certification programs at 3 campuses plus 3 convenient CCBC centers along with off-site community locations.</p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;" id="isPasted">Under the supervision of the Director of College Athletics and Campus Assistant Director of College Athletics, the Head Athletics Coach is responsible for coaching the assigned sport and is expected to:</p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">- Provide leadership and coaching expertise to the team. </p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">- Recruit student athletes to the institution in sufficient numbers to field an eligible and competitive team for the duration of the season. </p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">- Encourage and promote student athletes to make academic progress and attend all classes. </p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">- Read, understand, and apply correctly all rules and regulations of the college, NJCAA, NJCAA Region 20, and the Maryland JUCO Conference. </p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">- Work cooperatively with the college administration and support staff. </p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">- Participate in an organized fund raising program. </p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">- Cultivate an environment of good sportsmanship. </p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">- Perform responsibilities in multi-purpose shared facilities. </p><p style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0); font-style: normal; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px;">- Serve as a van driver for intercollegiate games and scrimmages as necessary. - Perform other duties as assigned.</p><p><br><strong style="color: inherit;font-style: normal;text-align: left;text-indent: 0.0px;">Adjunct level 1 - $1,085 per credit hour.</strong> </p></dd> <dt><h2>Minimum Requirements</h2></dt> <dd><p></p><p>- High school diploma or equivalent.</p><p>- Two years high school, college coaching or playing experience.</p><p>- Certification in first aid, CPR and AED.</p><p>- Valid Driver's License with less than 5 points.</p><p>- Knowledge of athletic and wellness equipment.</p><p>- Experience in multi-purpose recreational facilities.</p><p>- Familiarity with the governing bodies of collegiate athletics.<br> </p><p> </p><p> <span style="color: inherit;font-style: normal;text-indent: 0.0px;">#LI-DNP</span> </p></dd> </dl> </div> #CCBC Contact Information
