Enterprise Architect Cloud Modernization Leadership

Lead the Modernization of Enterprise Applications in the Cloud

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the transformation and modernization of legacy applications as they migrate to the cloud, with a strong preference for AWS solutions. This strategic leadership role focuses on cloud-first architecture, application modernization, and digital transformation.

You will define the vision and roadmap for migrating and modernizing mission-critical applications, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and optimized for cloud environments. Collaboration with business and technology stakeholders will be key to delivering innovative solutions that leverage the full potential of cloud-native services.

What Youll Do

• Lead the modernization and migration of legacy applications to the cloud, primarily AWS.
• Architect cloud-native solutions that maximize scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Solutions Architect and application teams to align modernization strategies and cloud adoption roadmaps.
• Establish governance, security, and performance standards for cloud-based applications.
• Drive major cloud transformation projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and efficient cloud solutions.
• Mentor and guide teams on cloud best practices and modernization approaches.

What Were Looking For

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, with a strong emphasis on cloud modernization and migration.
• Proven experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating them to AWS (other cloud platforms a plus).
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures, application refactoring, and modernization strategies.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Certifications

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
