Description

Health Unit Coordinator at Providence Saint Johns Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts.

Under the general supervision of the department Director, the Patient Administrative Associate is responsible for administrative and clerical duties including but not limited to answering phones, greeting patients and visitors, insurance verification, filing, data entry, copy, and faxing.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1 year - Health care related field and 25 wpm typing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training - Completion of course in Medical Terminology.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
