Job Description
Inventory Control Coordinator (2nd Shift)

Anticipated hourly range: $20.08 per hour - $22.94 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential)

The hourly range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidates geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.

Shift hours for this position are: 12:00pm - 8:30pm, or until the work is complete, Monday-Friday. Must be available to work overtime as necessary due to business needs.

What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Removing and logging recalled items

  • Identifying damaged products

  • Putaway of product

  • Tasking

  • Participating in Prime/Reserve cycle counts

  • Conducting investigations for missing stock and transfers

  • Running and completing reports

  • Organizing emails needing cycle counts

  • Maintaining chase area, including cycles

Qualifications:

  • Excellent written communication skills

  • 1-2 years experience preferred

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred

  • Ability to operate, or be trained on, all warehouse PIT equipment

  • Works under moderate degree of supervision

  • Work typically involves regular review of output by work lead or supervisor

  • Refers complex unusual problems to supervisor
