THE ROLE As a Pharmacy Technician, you will have a crucial role in ensuring the flawless operation of our pharmacy department, allowing our patients to receive the highest level of care. Job duties include, but are not limited to: Ordering supplies from bulk storage, restocking dispensing carts and delivering contents to patient care areas according to schedule; Computing and compiling prescription charges; Assisting pharmacist in reviewing written prescriptions to determine ingredients needed and ensure established procedures followed. Assisting pharmacist in filling prescriptions from bulk stock; Uses clean air center and sterile technique in filling and labeling syringes for delivery to patient care units.
