We seek competitive, sustainable returns through a disciplined investment process and take a rigorous life cycle approach to identify, implement and monitor investment themes and tactics. As our DWS Real Estate Intern, you will: Compile DCF underwriting in both Argus and Excel to assist with multi‐year planning, hold‐sell decisions, financings, leasing, and value‐add strategies Prepare Investment Committee presentations for financings, leasing, and dispositions Analyze leasing opportunities and sensitivities via ARGUS, NPV analyses, and market research Proactively identify opportunities to provide additional analysis/recommendations to add value to your respective AM/PM Lead external appraisal process and complete internal valuations, while working across several in‐house departments, including transactions and research Support the transition of newly acquired properties from the Transactions group and the Portfolio / Asset Management group Develop in-house tools for both, commercial and residential assets, to increase efficiency Review of Asset Management reports for purposes of confirming NRA, occupancy, carrying value and net operating income Prepare annual property business plans and review of quarterly reporting Prepare Annual Investment Plans and development of Hold/Sell or MAP Recommendations The Team is looking for: Proactive, coachable, accountable, and personable Organized/disciplined, works with urgency, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and critical thinking abilities Attention to accuracy and detail Effective communicator with strong social/relationship building skills Ability to work as part of a team and independently Relevant coursework, internship or work experience in Real Estate would be beneficial, but isn’t essential Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to enhance financial analysis, improve reporting efficiency, and generate insights Strong excel and analytical modeling skills A genuine interest in contributing to a strong, positive, and collaborative team culture Salary The salary range for this position is $100,000. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
