About   (request update)
I went to a HBCU to get the feel of family while getting my education at the same time. I love black colleges. I can not count the number of times I was told I have to not just be good in the work place I have to be great! I was also told that I will be challenged more in the work place and in life not by the content of my character but by the color of my skin...so be aware of it at all time. Even when they say it does not matter...ask yourself did they say that to the white lady or white man before or after me.

In 1971 I went to an all black high school in my hometown. Just before integration. I wanted that same feeling that I had then. I wanted to know with out a shadow of a doubt those teachers knew how I felt in that room and they were standing besides be every step of the way on my journey..

Hi Annette! I pray that things are well with you on your side of the world. I don't remember if I asked you this question before about a very good friend of mine from Chicago. Do you happen to know Kathy Worthen? She was at one time the National President of PSC Alumni Association. I think she is originally from AR.
