As a filmmaker, I was looking for ways to raise funds so I remembered a fantastic shea butter product I had purchased from a local vendor at a pop up and gave my sister some and we both L.O.V.E.D. it but had no idea how to make it, so I looked up the guy I purchased it from and he was generous enough to show me how to make it and where to get my products wholesale. That was over 2 years ago and the business has been growing so much we now have our own brick and mortar physical store in North Hollywood, California where there are very few BLACK FEMALE OWNED businesses. Me and my son, who has taken this journey with me since the very beginning, are proud of THE SKIN BUTTER STORE we have opened featuring over 77 SCENT-SATIONAL CHOICES and other body care products.
