I am currently living back at home in Wisconsin working at an ABC affiliate as an Assignment Editor. Since graduation I have been blessed to work in a radion station and two tv stations. I started off working at a local radio station as a producer, but I found out producing wasn't my thing.
Then I began working part-time as an Assignment Desk Editor ata ABC station on the weekends and I was working full-time during the week at an insurance company. That was a great opportunity, but they didn't hire me full-time right after a year so I left. I then got a job at CBS affilliate doing the same thing, but full-time. Then after a year of being their, my old ABC employer called and asked me to come back and work full-time for them! It was a much better opportunity, so I went for it! So now I'm back at the ABC station and I'm loving it!!!
I am content FOR NOW working as a Assignment Editor, but I want to evenutally be a sports reporter, but I have to get my resume tape together and that will come soon! I know the Lord will bless me with that opportunity but until then I will do my best at the Assignment Desk.
I did want to move to Texas, but got married, had a child and have grown closer to my parents and am uninterested in moving now. I've also changed my career paths and am looking into some different avenues outside of communications/broadcasting. God is good and has provided and will continue to do so because he gave me dreams and I plan to pursue those! (winkin)
