Claim To Fame:
I majored in Business Education with a minor in Library Science. My first job was as Librarian in a small town in Arkansas--Rosston, Arkansas. I worked there for one year. I came home and worked in Ferriday for one year and then as Head Librarian at Natchez Junior College for one year. I came back to Concordia parish and worked teaching business for three years. I was transferred to Vidalia Upper Elementary and worked there for twelve years. I am presently working as Librarian at Ferriday Upper Elementary School. I have been in Education for Thirty-three years. I am presently looking forward to retirement.
Most Memorable Moment:
I remember that Shirley Chislom was our speaker for graduation in May or 1970. When I read about her demise the other day, I was thinking about graduation day from GSU.
