First African American Man to Serve as a County Finance Director in the State of North Carolina. Served as both President of the North Carolina Government Finance Officer's Association and the North Carolina Association of County Finance Officers simultaneously. Named Outstanding County Finance Officer for the State of North Carolina in 2003.
