I graduated from Jackson State University in the Spring of 1988 with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. I was fortunate enough to have an interview with IBM Corporation on campus in my senior year at Jackson State and was offered a job with IBM and of course I accepted. I moved to the east coast and held several positions in Accounting, Finance and Administration with IBM before being downsized. After being downsized I went back to a local business college and studied PC Support and Network Communication where I graduated with a 4.0 GPA and attained my A+ and Network+ Certifications. With my BS in Accounting, IT Certifications and years of business experience I landed a job as Business Systems Analyst in the Banking Industry shortly after receiving my IT Certifications. I started a Virtual Assistant business in 2009 and thoroughly enjoy working for myself.
