Wes Bellamy is a high school computer science teacher, and Founder and Executive Director of the Non-Profit youth organization HYPE. Bellamy also serves as the President of the Young Black Professional Network of Charlottesville, on the Executive Board of Directors for the 100 Black Men of Central Virginia, is obtaining his Doctorate in Education from Virginia State University, and in his spare time, is currently running for office, as he is hoping to be elected as the first African American City Councilor in the city of Charlottesville, VA in over six years. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
