Obastacles are something most of us find hard to get through or sometimes something that henders our progress, but I'm very unique when it comes to overcoming obstacles. I must say I handle them very well. I seem to gain an learning experience out of every minor problem or situation I come across that may seem hard. My name is Shawneshia Stoneham and I am a fighter. I grew up in a household where nothing was handed to me on a silver platter, right in South Central, Los Angeles was were I resided along with my mother, step father, and baby niece. I get my strong demeanor and attitude from my mother. She is the rock of my family and that is what makes me so determined. When I was younger my father was arrested and sent to jail for 13 years of my life, which is the reason for his absence in my life. My step father has tooken care of me for as log as I can remmeber and has been a blessing to my family. Although I dont interact with my biological father very often I still love and thank him for bringing me into this world and making me realize life doesnt always work out how its suppose to but it will benefit in the long run. I believe that certain struggles are given to those who are able to handle them. I, personally am given the toughest battles.
Current Whereabouts:
I am currently into social work and psychology, working with people and helping them overcome physiological issues that may be affecting their ability to progress in life and become further with themselves. I love making people happy so I feel , this is the best field for me right now, I'm also into dance and cheer performing is a big part of my life.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
My life is pretty fair, although nothing was handed to me I know I have to go out and get it myself. My goal of becoming a physiologist wont happen overnight it will be a process but I will succeed because I am a determined young woman with a dream.

Activities & Accomplishments:
In High school I participated in activities su h as cheerleading and dance, and I was also nominated for the cheer captain position due to my leadership skills. I was elected vice president of my lead

My best high school memories were cheering and attending the basketball games and seeing the school spirit of my fellow classmates,
