Growing up all over, I have been in NC for the last 6 years. After graduation, I enrolled into NCCU to pursue what I've always wanted, nursing. Right after my initial into the program, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Melanoma. Unfortunately, I was forced to leave and complete treatment. After treatment, I received two blessings - clear scans and a positive pregnancy test. As if beating cancer didn't motivate me enough, having my daughter gave me even more reason to push through. I have since re-enrolled in school and In May 2019, I intend to graduate with my BSN with hopes to further enrich my education.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I hope to attain my BSN in 2019 and attend a graduate program - currently considering anesthesiology.
