 Over the two years that I have served in this position, I gained the knowledge to understand how a courtroom functions from the Judge’s perspective. This role equipped me with the skills of learning how to conduct thorough research skills as well as the ability write a Judge’s brief. During my summer experiences, I was able to pinpoint specific areas where our justice systems fails communities of color or those being affected by homelessness which has lead to my current major and chosen career path.
