Joy Watson is pursuing her Master of Science in Mathematics (expected Summer 2024).
She chose an HBCU, Virginia State University, because she knew an HBCU would always choose her. Even as an HBCU graduate student, Miss Watson is inspired, encouraged, and challenged by her environment. Upon completion of her Master's degree, Joy Watson will pursue doctoral studies in Mathematics.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
I will earn a PhD in Mathematics and become a Mathematics Professor.
