Highly gifted and favored first-gen pre-law student at Howard University, with a deep commitment to social justice issues and equitable policy reform. Aspiring lawyer, investigative journalist, and creative writer. Seeking opportunities to expand skills in policy analysis, legal research, and advocacy, contributing to initiatives that empower underrepresented communities.
Current Whereabouts:
Rigorous coursework on Black rhetoric, Critical Race Theory, anti-racist pedagogy, intersectionality, prison abolition, police demilitarization, and criminal justice reform with impactful civic engagement in cahoots with national Black leadership organizations like the NAACP and National Action Network.
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Career ambitions include working towards law school to work as an investigative journalist for outlets like The Times or Vox and, eventually, within the halls of the White House and then pursuing a P.h.D. in English as well as giving back to my community as an educator.
