My name is Amari Stewart, I am a highly motivated individual with Customer service, leadership, acting, and design and production skills seeking opportunities in Criminal Justice, Communications, Media, or Performing Arts where I can grow my knowledge and expand my skill set. As a student at North Carolina A&T, I am enrolled in the Criminal Justice major with a minor in Rehabilitative counseling. These programs allow me the opportunity to take courses that align with my interest in the justice system and how they can directly impact vulnerable populations in society including the disabled, disadvantaged teens, people of color, people with Mental Health issues, and lower social class. I am also a professional actor since age 9 and experienced in multimedia communication, and sound design.
Current Whereabouts:
Attending school and acting professionally
Life & Professional Aspirations:
Determined to reform the criminal justice system, I'm a North Carolina A&T junior majoring in Criminal Justice with a Forensics focus and minoring in Psychology for Rehabilitative Counseling. My ambition? Becoming an FBI criminologist while earning a Master's to aid troubled youth. My ambition extends beyond individual success; I aspire to effect systemic change by training my colleagues in criminal justice to understand and engage with teens, fostering fairness and compassion. By fostering understanding and empathy, we can create safer environments and interactions. With dedication, I'll champion diversity, striving for a justice system that truly serves all and reduces unnecessary profiling of vulnerable populations and negative encounters with law enforcement.
