As a young adult, you must learn to establish your morals and live by them. Accepting that everything you do has an impact in some way. Moreover, you must learn to portray yourself in a specific way because you never know who is watching. I consider myself to be very outgoing. I exert myself in a manner that seems role model-worthy. Between being a teacher’s assistant and constantly participating in community service activities I consider myself a leader. The Black community was the focus of HBCUs' design to provide high-quality education without requiring us to rely on others the same as ourselves. To establish a connection with people who are on the same journey as me. Attending an HBCU will help me achieve my dream of becoming one of the few black news broadcasters.
