I am interested in the field of chemical engineering. mainly, as it relates to biochemistry and biotechnology which I plan to explore as I have a deep passion for pharmaceutical engineering. I am excited to apply for this scholarship as it will serve as the pathway for me to reach my personal goals.
My passion for science is deeply rooted in the limited healthcare resources in my home region. Being from the Caribbean, I experienced first hand the effects of substandard medication in sick people. I often asked myself, “Why does geographical location affect the quality of the healthcare provided?” That burning thought is a fuel that ignited my passion to pursue this journey.
Through this experience, I believe this opportunity is a stepping stone for me to expose myself to industry leading
