Juanita Agard was born in New York City, NY and raised in the Seattle, Washington area. She moved to Washington DC - the Nation’s Capital to attend Howard University, and obtained a bachelor’s degree in System and Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics. Immediately after graduating, Juanita commenced an IT Specialist position with IBM, and the experience confirmed her passion for entrepreneurship, Information Technology (IT), and technology law. As the field of cybersecurity emerged with educational institutes creating cybersecurity curriculums, Juanita could clearly envision a career path which allowed her to combine her experienced in IT engineering with technology law to become a cybersecurity subject matter expert.
