Edward David is a senior Business Management major at Virginia State University with experience in marketing, branding, and community outreach. Originally from the U.S. Virgin Islands, he previously attended the University of the Virgin Islands before transferring through the National Student Exchange program. Edward has interned with TrekLocal as a Brand Marketer and participated in the Blackstone LaunchPad and DSPG programs. He’s passionate about entrepreneurship, cultural storytelling, and empowering underrepresented communities.

Claim To Fame:
My claim to fame in college is being “the one who made the most out of a fresh start.” I transferred from the University of the Virgin Islands to Virginia State University through the National Student Exchange program, and instead of just visiting, I stayed and thrived. I became known for staying active on campus, representing the Caribbean Student Association proudly, and always showing up with energy and purpose. Whether it’s organizing events, connecting with peers from different backgrounds, or sharing my story to motivate others, I’ve built a reputation for turning challenges into opportunities—and never forgetting where I came from.
