My name is Dorien Martin my hard work ethic , leadership , commitment are qualities of mine. I strive everyday in working hard and becoming a better person today than I was yesterday. Giving up has never been an option. My mother told me growing up that "nothing in life is free" my work ethic and commitment comes from her. Everyday I step up to be the best me , to showcase myself to others nothing is impossible without hard work.

Being from Jackson Mississippi gave me the opportunity to be hungry. I didn't come from much but I came from something that inspired me to be great.

Being a shoulder to lean on when others are tired. A friend you can call for anything.

Most Memorable Moment:

When my college organization "Men of Excellence" gave back to our college faculty and students. We try to give everyone something different to see. Writing positive notecards on random days. Giving out flowers and needed school supplies. Creating events for students to receive advice and wisdom from those who were once in our shoes.
