Life & Professional Aspirations:

My greatest aspiration is to become a pediatric nurse and dedicate my career to improving the lives of children and their families. I have always been drawn to healthcare because I enjoy helping others, and I want to be someone who can provide comfort, compassion, and quality care during some of the most difficult moments in a child's life. Attending an HBCU will allow me to grow academically, professionally, and personally while learning from a community that encourages excellence, leadership, and service. I plan to take advantage of opportunities such as clinical experiences, mentorship, and community service to prepare for a successful career in nursing. Beyond my profession, I hope to inspire young people in my community by showing them that hard work, perseverance, and education can open doors to endless opportunities. I want to be known not only as a skilled healthcare professional but also as someone who leads with compassion, integrity, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
