Most Memorable Moment:

My most memorable moment was performing and the Mr and Ms Howard Pageant with my sister on stage for her talent. We did a Gospel and Afrobeats fusion combing to two to create an entire production. I feel like this moment really defined Howard for me. When the music switched and I looked out at the and saw the joy the errupted from them, it warmed my heart. Through out the campaign season, my sister struggled with xenophobia as some people believed that an "African" should not be queen and did not represent the majority of the school. I feel like that performance in its self showed that everyone can be included and that our cultrual differences is what brings us together.
